Job summary

Karius, a life sciences company focused on infectious disease diagnostics, seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead Western US efforts from a base in SF/LA or another major city. Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales or business development experience in Life Sciences, Biotech, Medical Device, Diagnostics, or Pharmaceutical industries.
• 5+ years of people management experience leading field teams.
• Proven success selling to hospital stakeholders including laboratory leaders and physicians.
• Experience launching and scaling transformational or novel technologies that influence clinical practice.
• Strong ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams with coaching and reporting.
• Ability to set priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve regional revenue goals by growing existing and new accounts.
• Lead territory strategy, coach CSMs, and ensure adoption of the Karius Sales Cycle and CRM processes.
• Develop and manage regional business plans, budgets, and milestones.
• Utilize data and analytics to guide priorities and decision-making.
• Deliver Regional QBRs with strategy, performance analysis, and resource needs.
