Job summary

Trinity Consultants is seeking a Regional Project Accountant Assistant to support project financial operations across multiple regional offices. You will assist with billing, AR, and month-end activities, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in project billing or accounting, are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working remotely. Strong Excel and Deltek experience preferred to support accurate invoicing and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of project billing or accounting experience.
• GAAP knowledge required.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas).
• Experience with multiple billing formats and client-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist regional accountants with daily project accounting, billing, and AR.
• Prepare and process client invoices via email and portals.
• Maintain project setup and client billing instructions.
• Respond to routine project accounting inquiries.
• Review aging reports and support collections to reduce DSO.
• Support month-end close activities and GL reconciliations.
• Participate in process improvements for billing and reporting.
• Cross-train to build knowledge for career growth.
