Job summary

Valmet is a global technology company seeking a Senior Manager, Regional Product Sales for US North and Canada to lead a sales team and drive growth. You will secure orders, manage forecasting, and develop relationships with key customers across the region.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication skills, and extensive travel to customer sites and facilities across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with 10 years of experience.
• Experience in the pulp and paper industry would be an asset.
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence others in a positive way.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of Product Sales Managers selling and servicing the Rolls business area.
• Secures orders from existing and potential customers by visiting customer facilities and other communication within assigned accounts.
• Overseas and manages the quotation process and supports team in the quotation process and ensures timely follow up with customers.
• Will resolve communication or pipeline delays from key stakeholders internal and external.
• Review, examine and resolve customer complaints.
• Establishes professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, mill management, etc.).
• Manages the territory sales forecast/budget for assigned areas.
• Assist in collection of accounts receivable.
• Assist in data collection/distribution of marketing/sales/product launch.
