Job summary

Valmet is expanding its Automation Systems leadership in the Western USA and Canada and seeks an experienced Regional Sales Manager focused on the Pulp and Paper industry. You will own direct sales, build strategic initiatives, and drive revenue with key customers from home offices or regional sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive background and proven experience in the Pulp and Paper Industry.
• Strong sales mindset with the ability to engage customers at multiple levels.
• Experience working in a matrix organization with adaptability.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within the designated territory and support other areas as required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to reach sales targets.
• Utilize thorough market research to identify business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical support and customized solutions.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities and share market insights with product groups and R&D.
