Job summary

Valmet seeks a Senior Manager, Regional Product Sales for US North and Canada to lead a high-performing sales team. You will drive orders, manage quotes, and strengthen customer relations across facilities within the region to meet strategic goals.

You will analyze market trends, coordinate cross-functional activities, and mentor Sales Managers while traveling extensively in the US and internationally to secure growth opportunities for the Rolls business area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in regional sales management.
• Experience in the pulp and paper industry is a plus.
• Ability to travel in the United States and internationally.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of Product Sales Managers selling and servicing the Rolls business area.
• Secures orders from existing and potential customers by visiting customer facilities and through communications within assigned accounts.
• Oversees quotation process and supports team to ensure timely follow up with customers.
• Resolves communication or pipeline delays with key stakeholders internal and external.
• Provides market trends and analysis, including competitor activity, lost orders, and pricing changes.
• Establishes professional relationships with customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, mill management, etc.).
• Manages territory sales forecast/budget for assigned areas.
• Assists in collection of accounts receivable and data distribution of marketing/sales/product launches.
• Assists in distribution/collection of customer satisfaction surveys.
• Delivers leadership per Valmet competencies and leads recruitment/onboarding; travel is required.
