Job summary

Michigan Farm Bureau is seeking a field operations leadership role based in Michigan with a remote work setup. You will support county Farm Bureaus to grow and retain members, organize programs, and lead county leadership development across Branch, Calhoun, Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee regions.

The role involves collaboration with county boards, reporting to Field Operations leadership, and ensuring alignment with state and national programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred agribusiness, agri-communications, business, or political science.
• Experience volunteering or working for a nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and service membership in assigned Michigan counties.
• Assist counties to plan and implement membership growth and retention programs.
• Supervise County Administrative Managers including hiring, training, and coaching.
• Review county financials and conduct cash audits; report discrepancies.
