Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Regional Medical Lead (Director) to join the leadership team. The role focuses on developing regional medical strategy, building key stakeholder and C-suite relationships, and aligning resources to improve patient care and outcomes.

You will co-create initiatives with regional leaders, supervise MSLs, and ensure regional evidence supports strategic priorities while maintaining a patient-centric culture.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Biological Sciences is strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years of strategic leadership experience across therapeutic and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence without authority and mobilize colleagues to action.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional medical strategy and coordinate with senior stakeholders and the C-suite.
• Develop regional ecosystem understanding and align with patient-centric strategy.
• Serve as primary medical contact for top regional decision makers and influencers.
• Provide field leadership to ensure MSL focus aligns with business priorities.
• Identify regional evidence needs and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
