Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks a Regional Medical Lead to guide regional strategy, build senior stakeholder relationships, and align medical initiatives with patient‑centric priorities.

You will collaborate with regional leadership to plan, prioritize, and deploy medical resources across key institutions and payers. As the medical lead, you will co-create education, coordinate with MSLs, and ensure regional insights drive evidence generation and care continuity.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Biological Sciences is strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years of strategic leadership across therapeutic and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to influence without authority in complex healthcare environments.
• Understanding health systems interconnectivity and patient outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills to identify barriers and success factors.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional strategic plans addressing regional and customer challenges.
• Establish and manage senior stakeholder and C-suite relationships across the region.
• Understand regional ecosystems (health systems, payers, centers of excellence).
• Serve as primary medical contact for top regional decision makers and influencers.
• Provide field leadership to ensure MSLs focus on key institutions and outcomes.
