Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks a Regional Medical Lead (Director) to guide the regional medical strategy and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the region. You will act as the primary medical point of contact for top decision makers and shape initiatives aligned with patient-centric priorities.

You will lead MSLs, identify evidence needs, and work with regional leadership to ensure care continuity and coordinated medical strategies across the region.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Biological Sciences is strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years of strategic leadership across therapeutic and cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing and implementing strategy in complex healthcare environments.
• Ability to influence across matrixed organizations without formal authority.
• Strong understanding of health systems and patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional medical strategy aligned with patient-centric goals.
• Establish and manage senior stakeholder and C-suite relationships across the region.
• Understand regional ecosystems, health systems, centers of excellence, and payers.
• Provide medical leadership and oversight to MSLs and regional teams.
• Identify regional evidence needs and translate into actions with internal stakeholders.
