Job summary

Puffy, a Top 5 US mattress brand, is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to open and grow retail bedding accounts across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic. You will prospect, develop, and close accounts, owning territory strategy, travel cadence, and account priorities, while partnering with leadership to drive regional growth.

This role offers uncapped earnings with tiered commission rates and direct collaboration with the Director of Retail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience selling to mattress retailers with established relationships across smaller and larger bedding retailers.
• Strong drive to exceed targets.
• Demonstrated consultative selling capabilities.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and close retail accounts across the assigned territory.
• Partner with the Retail General Manager to drive regional growth.
• Build territory coverage and an expanding account base in target regions.
• Convert retailer relationships into Puffy accounts and manage territory strategy and travel cadence.
• Own the prospecting approach, account priorities, and territory planning.
