Job summary

JLL is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee state-of-the-art distribution centers across North America. This role is not a typical RMM; you will lead maintenance strategy, drive uptime, and build strong cross-functional partnerships with site leadership.

Remote across the Western US with opportunities across Phoenix, AZ and other metros; you will mentor managers, manage budgets, and lead safety and reliability initiatives to protect client assets.

Responsibilities

• Site Performance & Standards: Assess site maintenance gaps and drive corrective actions to meet KPI targets.
• Evaluate site condition and leave an improvement plan with ownership.
• Establish and enforce maintenance standards protecting assets.
• Conduct Health Check audits and QA reviews to ensure program adherence.
• Provide site General Managers with visibility into maintenance activities.
• Leadership Development & Coaching: Coach Senior/Maintenance Managers and Area Managers.
• Model leadership in field and train leaders.
• Identify leadership gaps and create development plans.
• Teach budgeting, workforce management, KPI interpretation, and escalation.
• Create talent pipelines to sustain performance and values.
• Technical & Operational Excellence: Drive maintenance best practices and standardize methods.
• Develop reliability plans to increase uptime.
• Provide expertise in MHE, Industrial Automation, and Robotics.
• Use data/metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Advise leadership on equipment end-of-life with ROI analytics.
• Safety Culture: Build proactive safety culture at every site.
• Ensure 100% safety training compliance and model safety-first behavior.
• Monitor, audit, and enforce safe work practices; support drills.
• Partner with safety program managers on site and on-account.
• Client Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with site operations leaders and program managers.
• Collaborate with JLL leaders and Finance to steward client funds.
• Ensure KPI performance is achieved or exceeded and report weekly.
• Account & Program Management: Manage labor and PRM budgets, OT, and approvals.
• Report variances and trends across budgets.
• Ensure PO creation and invoice reconciliation processes.
• Coordinate with other RMMs to deploy programs and tools.
