Qualifikationen

• 7-12+ years of experience in state government, lobbying, legislative affairs or political campaigns.
• Direct exposure to multiple state legislatures or regulatory agencies in B2C organisations.
• Demonstrated experience managing external vendors, consultants or contract lobbyists.
• Working knowledge of gaming regulation, sweepstakes law, consumer protection, or related policy areas.
• Strong political credibility and established relationships with government officials.
• Experience in multi-state lobbying in fast-moving industries (tech, fintech, gaming).
• Proficiency with legislative tracking tools.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary accountability manager for external lobbyists within the regional portfolio and manage performance expectations.
• Translate VGW’s lobbying strategy into state-specific advocacy messaging.
• Develop and maintain relationships with state legislators, committee staff, attorneys general offices, and regulators.
• Participate in cross-regional strategy sessions to ensure consistent messaging across states.
• Represent the company at hearings, fundraisers, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
• Monitor and track active legislation across assigned states affecting social gaming and related policy areas.
