Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy seeks a Regional EHS Manager to provide strategic safety leadership for operational plants in an assigned region. The role partners with regional leaders and contractor teams to strengthen safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance while promoting Zero Injury principles.

The position requires 6–8 years in EHS management, CHST/SMP certification, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management.
• CHST or SMP certification.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping requirements.
• Experience with safety incident management software.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic safety leadership for operational plants in an assigned region.
• Partner with leadership and contractor teams to implement effective site-specific safety programs.
• Communicate safety performance and risks to regional leadership.
• Execute safety strategy and Zero Injury principles and analyze leading indicators.
• Monitor site activities and monthly safety training for OSHA compliance.
• Review job safety analyses and site safety plans.
• Lead or support incident investigations and corrective actions.
