Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) seeks a Regional EHS Manager - Operations to lead strategic safety for operational plants in an assigned region. Reporting to the Director of EHS, Quality & Training, you will partner with regional and site leadership and contractor teams to enhance safety programs and compliance.

This is a fully remote role within the United States with 50–75% travel to sites; preferred location in Texas or Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of progressive EHS management experience.
• CHST or SMP certification required.
• Deep OSHA recordkeeping knowledge and medical case management.
• Experience with safety incident management software.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; report writing.
• Commitment to Zero Injury principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic safety leadership for regional plants.
• Partner with Regional Directors, Plant Managers and contractor teams to implement site-specific safety programs.
• Communicate safety performance and risks to regional leadership.
• Execute LRE's safety strategy and analyze leading indicators.
• Monitor site activities and monthly safety training for OSHA compliance.
• Review job safety analyses and site safety plans to strengthen controls.
• Conduct workplace audits and track corrective actions.
• Train personnel on IS Networld, EHS Insight, and The LRE Grid.
• Lead or support incident investigations and corrective actions.
