Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, seeks a Regional EHS Manager to support 2–4 facilities in the region, travel 60–75% across the assigned geographic area. This role leads EHS programs and drives safety excellence across multiple sites.

The role partners with operations leadership to build a proactive safety culture, implement corporate EHS standards, and ensure regulatory compliance during growth, acquisitions, and startups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Experience leading Serious Injury & Fatality (SIF) prevention initiatives and risk management programs.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience leading incident investigations utilizing root cause analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic EHS leadership to 2–4 facilities within the region.
• Lead the implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement of corporate EHS systems.
• Partner with Plant Managers to develop local ownership and accountability for EHS performance.
• Support integration of newly acquired or startup facilities into corporate EHS programs and culture.
• Drive SIF prevention initiatives and verify high-energy hazard controls.
• Conduct region-wide audits, risk assessments, and corrective action management processes.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state/local regulations.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

7–10 years of progressive EHS leadership experience

SIF prevention initiatives & risk management
