Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a Director of Cell Therapy Trade Compliance Operations to define and lead the global operating model for import/export and FTZ execution across the Cell Therapy network.

You will own performance, continuity, and compliance, partnering with Patient Supply Operations, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory to ensure compliant, timely, and scalable cross-border material movement while enabling clinical-to-commercial transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in supply chain, international business, life sciences, or a related field.
• 12+ years in customs brokerage, import/export, or trade compliance within regulated environments.
• Proven ability to lead global operating models across sites and countries.

Responsibilities

• Set global trade compliance strategy and operating model for import/export and FTZ execution.
• Own end-to-end import/export movement, including customs entry, documentation, and broker governance.
• Lead governance, risk controls, and performance reviews across internal and external partners.
• Drive digitization, dashboards, KPI reporting, and operational transparency.
