Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Regional Account Manager for the Southwestern USA to develop trusted, long-term relationships with strategic customers in the territory. The role blends outside sales with a technical background to understand customer needs and drive TE energy technologies.

The RAM collaborates with engineering, procurement, and project teams, manages projects end-to-end, and travels up to 50% within the region. Residence in MS, LA, AK, TX or NM is preferred, with TX favored.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Business Admin or related discipline; HS/GED/tech with relevant work experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of industry experience (manufacturing, contractor and/or electrical distribution).
• Travel 50-75%.
• Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acquire understanding of key account technical needs and requirements.
• Promote TE Energy technologies and drive projects as SME.
• Coordinate proposals, review and negotiation processes.
• Manage deliverables to exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure engineering, procurement, construction & logistics align with sold expectations.
• Build relationships with stakeholders as SME for TE products across multiple industries.
• Develop sales presentations, proposals and materials to support project development.
• Coordinate project library across the Americas region and qualify opportunities.
