Job summary

Humana is seeking a remote Supervisor of Referrals to lead the processing of referrals and authorizations and coordinate the team’s activities. You will prioritize workloads, monitor performance, and implement contingency operations to meet standards.

You will also research and resolve issues in referrals/authorizations and provide training to non-clinical staff, coaching for growth opportunities within the team.

Qualifications

• Three years supervisory/management experience.
• Five years of referral and authorization management experience.
• TRICARE experience is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship is required by the DoD contract.
• Interim government security clearance eligibility (NBIS) required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise processing of referrals and authorizations.
• Serve as a resource for the team, monitoring and coordinating activities.
• Prioritize caseloads to optimize resources and implement contingency plans.
• Provide research and resolution of issues related to referrals and authorizations.
• Facilitate training for non-clinical associates and coach for growth.
