Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking an Off-Site Receiving Specialist (Contract) to manage remote inventory operations.

You will ensure accurate NetSuite data entry, maintain strict REV-level inventory controls, and aggressively clear backlogs of missed receipts, acting as the frontline defense against supply chain discrepancies. You will collaborate with purchasing, warehouse operations, and vendors to resolve inbound shipping issues and drive long-term improvements in receiving processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience using NetSuite (or similar ERP systems) for inventory or receiving modules.
• Proficiency with Slack and spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets) for tracking logs.
• Strong understanding of inventory control processes, specifically revision (REV) level tracking.
• A persistent, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to chase down answers from internal and external partners.
• High administrative accuracy and a refusal to let documentation errors slide.

Responsibilities

• System Receiving: Process all incoming shipments into NetSuite accurately and timely.
• 3PL Compliance & Oversight: Ensure 3PL adheres to Harbinger's receiving SOPs and communicate discrepancies.
• Inventory Control: Maintain REV-level inventory tracking for exact product records.
• Discrepancy Auditing: Inspect new inbound shipments against packing slips, POs, and counts.
• Backlog Management: Identify and clear missed receipts to update inventory records.
• Error Logging & Communication: Document issues in the receiving error log and Slack channels.
• Resolution Drive: Collaborate with Purchasing, warehouse ops, and vendors to resolve errors.
• Process Improvement: Persistently improve documentation standards and error corrections.
