Job summary

Server Tech Solutions Inc. in Sanford, FL is seeking a full-time on-site Receiving & Inventory Specialist. You will own inbound serialized hardware, verify part numbers, and maintain strict 1:1 traceability from PO to sale, ensuring accuracy and preventing misrepresentation.

You will manage PO lifecycle, coordinate testing and grading, and document discrepancies with vendors. The role requires leadership, methodical analysis, and a focus on security and compliance in ITAD workflows.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in receiving, inventory control with serialized technology hardware.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise drives, servers, or components and ability to identify hardware and part numbers without lookup.

Responsibilities

• Own receiving for all inbound serialized hardware—drives, servers, and components.
• Verify part numbers, revisions, configurations, quantities, serials, and condition against the PO and vendor manifest.
• Maintain 1:1 serial-level traceability from PO through grading and sale.
• Catch and document misrepresented lots and data discrepancies with evidence for claims.
• Set and enforce receiving accuracy standards and stop the line when issues arise.
• Own the purchase order lifecycle from in-transit to live and sellable.
• Track open POs daily across receiving, testing, grading, and activation.
• Identify and clear stale or stuck POs to protect vendor relationships.
• Maintain PO aging visibility for leadership and Purchasing.
• Set testing queue priority and coordinate daily with HW Engineering & Testing.
• Track units through test, grading, and reconciliation of yields.
• Oversee SKU transformations when grading splits lots into SKUs.
• Document shortages, overages, substitutions, and grade misrepresentation with evidence.
• Provide data to Purchasing to hold vendors accountable.
• Turn discrepancies around within 48 hours of identification.
