Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with multistate or Florida licensure.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) is preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Two+ years as an RN; one+ year oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage oncology patient calls regarding treatment, surgery, and appointment information.
• Monitor and manage patient symptom management.
• Provide patient education and referrals to resources for patient and caregivers.
• Assist physician and PA-C/ARNP with patient interactions to resolve issues.
• Complete requested clinical documentation as needed.
• Facilitate communication among the cancer care team to prevent delays.
• Provide infusion floor coverage as needed.
