Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Venice, FL is seeking a professional registered nurse with oncology knowledge to provide triage, symptom management, and patient education. Under supervision, you will triage calls about treatment, surgery, and appointments, and collaborate with physicians and the PA-C/ARNP.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, 2+ years bedside experience, 1+ year oncology, BLS, and OC N preferred.

Formación

• Registered Nurse multistate or Florida single state licensure required.
• Two years or more of RN experience; one year or more in oncology.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Triage oncology patient calls regarding treatment, surgery, and appointment information.
• Monitor and manage patient symptom burden and high-risk cases to reduce ED visits.
• Assess barriers to care and provide education, resources, and referrals to patients and caregivers.
