Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Triage Nurse (RN) to provide oncology-specific clinical guidance and care to patients, families, and caregivers via calls about treatment, surgery, and appointments.

Under supervision, you will monitor symptoms, manage high-risk cases, identify barriers to care, and educate patients while collaborating with physicians, PAs, and the cancer care team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Florida or multi-state.
• Minimum two years of RN experience; oncology preferred.
• BLS required; OCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage oncology patient calls and provide treatment information.
• Monitor and manage patient symptoms and care needs.
• Assist high-risk patient care to minimize ED visits.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and resources.
• Collaborate with physicians, PAs, ARNPs, and care team.
