Florida Cancer Specialists is seeking a Triage Nurse with oncology expertise to triage patient calls and provide clinical guidance on treatment, surgery, and appointments. This role emphasizes patient-centered care and requires strict adherence to Nursing Board regulations.

The ideal candidate has an RN license (multi-state or Florida), an associate degree at minimum, and oncology experience. BLS certification is required; OCN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required (multistate or Florida).
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Oncology Certification (OCN) preferred; BLS required.
• Two+ years of RN experience; oncology experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Triage oncology patient calls regarding treatment, surgery, and appointment information.
• Monitor and manage patient symptoms; provide education and resources.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to address complex patient needs.
• Complete required clinical documentation and maintain professional boundaries.
