Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is seeking a Triage Nurse to provide oncology-focused care by triaging patient calls about treatment, scheduling, and questions. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support infusion services.

Ideal candidates hold a current RN licensure, with 2+ years of RN experience and 1+ year in oncology. OCN certification is preferred; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license with oncology knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years as RN and 1 year oncology experience.
• OCN certification preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Triage oncology patient calls regarding treatment, surgery, and appointments.
• Monitor and manage patient symptoms.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to prevent delayed care.
• Provide patient education and resources.
• Support infusion floor coverage as needed.
