Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Multifamily Property Compliance Manager to lead daily multifamily compliance engagements and mentor a team of analysts, ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction across engagements.

The role requires advanced knowledge of affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HOME, etc.), strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements while delivering high-quality results on schedule. Some travel domestically may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years experience in administration and monitoring of multifamily affordable housing programs.
• COS or equivalent certification and HCCP designation required.
• Additional company-sponsored compliance certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day multifamily compliance engagements, planning, staffing, scheduling, and timely deliverables.
• Review tenant file compliance reviews and reports for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Escalate complex compliance matters and respond to client questions.
• Provide technical guidance on affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HOME, etc.).
• Supervise and develop Analysts, including performance evaluations.
• Monitor engagement performance and identify process improvements.
• Develop strong client relationships and support training initiatives.
