Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Multifamily Property Compliance Manager to lead day-to-day multifamily compliance engagements and provide expert guidance on federal, state, and local housing programs. You will supervise analysts, manage engagement planning, and foster strong client relationships.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of LIHTC, HOME, NHTF, HOTMA, and income eligibility, with a proven ability to interpret complex regulations and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of directly related experience in administration and monitoring of multifamily affordable housing programs.
• COS or equivalent certification and HCCP designation required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day multifamily compliance engagements, including planning, staffing, scheduling, workload allocation, and timely delivery of client deliverables.
• Review occupancy- and income-related compliance reviews and related work products for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as escalation point for complex compliance matters and client questions.
• Provide guidance on affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HOUSING, NHTF, HOTMA, income eligibility).
• Supervise and develop analysts; manage performance and training initiatives.
• Support client relationships and business development efforts.
