Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Multifamily Property Compliance Manager to lead daily operations, provide technical guidance, and oversee Senior, Property, and Junior Analysts delivering compliant affordable housing engagements.

You will supervise staff, manage engagement planning, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster client relationships while driving efficiency and profitability. A Bachelor's degree with COS/HCCP and strong program knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in multifamily housing program administration.
• 3+ years leadership/management experience.
• COS or equivalent certification required; HCCP designation preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of LIHTC, Tax-Exempt Bonds, HOME, NHTF, HOTMA, 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility requirements.
• Strong supervisory and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day multifamily compliance engagements, including planning, staffing, scheduling, workload allocation, and timely completion of client deliverables.
• Review pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews, reports, findings, and related work products for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as escalation point for complex compliance matters, engagement issues and regulatory interpretation needs.
• Provide technical guidance related to affordable housing compliance programs and local requirements.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop analysts, including performance evaluations.
• Monitor engagement performance, productivity, and quality standards; identify improvements.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships through professionalism and responsiveness.
• Support department training, knowledge-sharing, and quality control initiatives.
• Assist leadership with client service strategies and business development.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
