Job summary

Amica Mutual Insurance Company in Hartford, CT is seeking an Associate Customer Care Representative to service policyholders over the phone. Ideal candidates bring prior customer service and sales experience, a professional telephone manner, and strong teamwork skills.

Salary starts at $53,127 annually (up to $61,363 with experience/licenses). Workweek is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; some holidays and Saturdays. After training, partial work-from-home is possible up to two days weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service and sales is preferred.
• Must obtain a state insurance license after hire and complete required CE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct professional telephone conversations to service customer accounts in a high call volume environment.
• Problem-solve and multitask to prioritize work.
• Assist customers with billing and policy changes over the phone.
• Build trust and maintain relationships with customers.
• Demonstrate a high standard of customer service.
• Collaborate with others in a team setting.
