Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with a small client group of salaried and hourly employees and to support data center teams with policy questions, payroll, timekeeping and benefits.

You will serve as a hands-on, data-driven resource collaborating with Talent Acquisition and Senior HR Partners to process Workday transactions, deliver Excel-based dashboards, drive process improvements with AI (Copilot) while ensuring confidentiality and compliance across multi-state labor laws.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive HR generalist experience, including hourly/shift-based employees.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Hands-on Workday HCM experience with reporting and transactions.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data cleansing).
• Knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA).
• Strong communication and confidentiality in interactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned client group including data center teams.
• Partner on employee relations, investigations, leave, accommodations and workers’ compensation coordination.
• Support Talent Acquisition with requisitions, interviews, vendor management and candidate experience.
• Map, simplify and standardize HR processes; drive AI-enabled efficiencies.
• Accurately process and audit Workday transactions and coordinate with Payroll/HRIS.
