Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with data center teams, supporting salaried and hourly staff, and driving HR operations with data-driven insights. The role emphasizes Workday expertise, advanced Excel, and AI-enabled process improvements.

You will handle client group support, employee relations, talent acquisition coordination, reporting, training, and HR projects in a hybrid, on-site with two remote days model. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive HR generalist experience; experience supporting hourly, shift-based or field employees is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent
• Hands-on Workday HCM experience, including processing transactions and running/modifying reports
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, conditional formulas, data cleansing and charting
• Demonstrated use of Microsoft Copilot to improve speed and quality of work
• Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA)
• Strong judgment, discretion and confidentiality; clear, credible communication
• Confident presenter/facilitator; comfortable leading compliance trainings
• Willingness to travel up to 15%

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for an assigned client group of salaried and hourly employees
• Partner on employee relations matters including investigations, corrective action and exit themes
• Support requisition tracking, interview logistics and candidate experience; manage staffing vendors
• Map, simplify and standardize HR and talent acquisition processes using AI tools
• Process and audit Workday transactions and resolve payroll/HRIS issues
• Build and maintain Excel and Workday reports and dashboards on key HR metrics
• Coordinate and deliver training at data centers and headquarters
• Own day-to-day HR operations and ad hoc projects including data audits and compliance
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Senior HR partners on process improvements
