Job summary

AptarGroup, Inc. is seeking a Senior IP Attorney to shape and execute the global IP strategy. This role manages portfolios, licensing, enforcement, and IP-related transactions to align with commercial objectives and long-term innovation priorities.

The position partners with business, R&D, and segment IP teams, guiding risk management and strategic value creation across jurisdictions. Flexible/global location with leadership in IP initiatives.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Typically 10+ years in IP law, patent practice, or similar roles.
• Experience with patents, IP risk topics, and cross‑border matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide IP analysis and guidance on patent matters to segment IP leaders.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IP documents and licenses.
• Support IP due diligence in M&A and strategic partnerships.
• Mentor junior IP staff and contribute to IP training programs.
• Lead and coordinate enforcement actions and disputes with external counsel.
