Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Applications Scientist to support and grow our flow cytometry customer base in research and diagnostic applications. Located in the San Francisco area, you will join the Flow Cytometry Field Applications Team and report to the Western North America Field Applications Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related life science discipline.
• 5+ years flow cytometry experience in clinical setting including spectral flow cytometry.
• Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills; communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Analytical and troubleshooting capabilities; diagnose and resolve complex issues; document root cause analyses.
• Organizational and time-management skills; manage travel-heavy schedule; work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive achievement of annual financial targets within the assigned territory in alignment with company strategy.
• Promote and demonstrate Beckman Coulter flow cytometry hardware, software, and consumables through effective demonstrations.
• Provide scientific and technical support for instruments, reagents, and integrated systems throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Lead on-time implementation, including on-site customer training and solution deployment.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive support and relationship management.
