Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking an experienced scientist to provide pre- and post-sales application support for NovoCyte Flow Cytometry solutions. This remote field-based role covers Germany and Austria and requires substantial travel.

You will partner with the field organization to drive sales objectives, deliver product demonstrations, and maintain a deep understanding of competitive landscape while presenting at conferences and engaging customers at sites.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Immunology.
• A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in Flow Cytometry.
• Previous experience providing technical support to customers is preferred.
• Experience supporting optical, electrical, or mechanical equipment is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Fluency in German and English is required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Agilent Flow Cytometry solutions through pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer engagements.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering pre- and post-sales training and providing high-quality technical support.
• Capture and communicate the Voice of the Customer, including product feedback, enhancement opportunities, and market trends.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the Flow sales team, supporting the resolution of technical questions and challenges.
• Support technical sales and marketing initiatives by presenting at conferences and developing and delivering presentations in both virtual and in-person settings.
• Travel up to 75% of the time with regular weekly travel and overnight stays.
