Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is seeking a Field Applications Scientist to support and expand our customer base in research and diagnostic flow cytometry applications. The candidate will be located in the Western North America region, covering WI among others, with significant travel and on-site customer interaction.

The role reports to the Western North America Field Applications Manager and sits within the Flow Cytometry Field Applications Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related life science discipline.
• Extensive flow cytometry experience (5+ years) in clinical setting including spectral flow cytometry.
• Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to independently manage a travel-heavy schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive achievement of annual financial targets within the assigned territory in alignment with company strategy.
• Promote and demonstrate Beckman Coulter flow cytometry hardware, software, and consumables through effective solution demonstrations.
• Provide scientific and technical support for instruments, reagents, and integrated systems throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Lead on-time implementation, including on-site customer training and solution deployment.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive support and relationship management.
