Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in Puerto Rico is seeking a Field Application Specialist for Flow Cytometry to assess applications and implement workflows aligned with customer needs. You will lead product demonstrations and collaborate with customers to meet scientific goals.

You will provide instrument training in labs and support pre- and post-sales activities across Puerto Rico and Caribbean, ensuring smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with Flow Cytometry.
• Background in Hematology and Clinical Flow Cytometry is highly desirable.
• University degree in biomedicine, biological sciences, pharmacist, biotechnology or a related subject.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, oral and written.
• Must be located in Puerto Rico, travel 50-75% of time.
• Knowledge of immunology and extracellular vesicles is a plus; experience with high-dimensional data analysis tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical and scientific support to customers in Puerto Rico and Caribbean Countries, focusing on flow cytometry hardware and consumables.
• Delivering high-quality pre-sales support, including instrument and software demonstrations, workflow studies, proactive protocol development, and presence at scientific meetings.
• Providing instrument training in customer laboratories and implementing flow cytometry routines to ensure customer satisfaction.
