Alteryx is seeking a Consulting Sales Engineer to bridge technical capabilities and customer value. This remote-friendly role is located within an hour of the Boston or NYC area.

You will provide technical expertise, product demonstrations, and tailored solutions to prospective clients. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data analytics pre-sales, with strong knowledge of cloud platforms, data warehousing, SQL, Python, R, and Spark.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales or consultant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP with familiarity in Snowflake and Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Apache Spark or similar; Alteryx familiarity is a plus.
• Strong ability to navigate complex selling processes across multiple departments.
• Travel up to 40% or as required.

Responsabilités

• Provide pre-sales support for pre-qualified opportunities for all products in the Alteryx Platform.
• Craft and deliver technical presentations of offerings to new potential customers.
• Develop and deliver proof of concept (POC) demonstrations/meetings to demonstrate value.
• Remain up to date on Alteryx solutions, industry trends, and competitive products.
• Mentor team members and develop learning plans to improve skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with sales management to drive sales through training and process optimization.
