Alteryx is seeking a Consulting Sales Engineer to bridge technical capabilities with customer needs, delivering demonstrations and tailored solutions from the Boston or NYC area while staying within an hour of either city.

In this remote-friendly role, you will support pre-sales, present offerings, develop POC demonstrations, and collaborate with sales to accelerate deals. You will mentor teammates and stay current on Alteryx solutions, data analytics, and industry trends.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of pre-sales or consultant experience in data analytics, BI, or data science.
• At least 3 years in the field.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and data warehousing like Snowflake/Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Spark or similar language is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, data science, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in using Alteryx or similar data analytics tools is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex selling across departments and levels (LOB, C-suite, IT).
• Travel up to 40% or as required.

Aufgaben

• Provide pre-sales support for pre-qualified opportunities for all products in the Alteryx Platform.
• Craft and deliver technical presentations of offerings to new potential customers.
• Develop and deliver proof of concept (POC) demonstrations/meetings to demonstrate feasibility and value in the customer's environment.
• Remain up to date on Alteryx solutions, industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies while adhering to company methods.
• Mentor team members through observation and develop learning plans to improve abilities and knowledge.
• Work with sales management to drive sales through optimizing processes, training, and collaboration.
