Job summary

Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice focusing on women and children's health across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. We offer a multi-specialty care model with flexible schedules for Registered Dietitians to provide evidence-based nutrition via telehealth.

This 1099 independent contractor role lets you set your own hours while collaborating with medical providers and therapists to deliver comprehensive patient care across the US.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) by the CDR with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to facilitate lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits.
