Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver compassionate virtual care for midlife and menopausal transitions. You will conduct synchronous video visits, collaborate with medical providers and therapists, and guide patients through multi-week programs with evidence-based nutrition therapy.

As a 1099 independent contractor, you control your schedule and join a supportive clinical community.

Qualifications

• National certification as an RD or RDN by the CDR with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team to ensure cohesive care.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to facilitate lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits.
