Job summary

Phamily is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Consultant to audit and optimize healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement. You will partner with client revenue cycle teams to resolve discrepancies and improve outcomes.

The role requires hands-on expertise in CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding, payer rules, and auditing, with remote work and up to 20% travel to client sites. A strong analytic mindset and independent problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM).
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payer rules.
• Advanced CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding and billing rules.
• Experience auditing medical claims and resolving reimbursement discrepancies.
• Ability to identify revenue leakage and improve denial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits of medical claims, billing records, coding and docs.
• Validate CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding and payer-specific rules.
• Identify underbilling, duplicate billing, and reimbursement gaps.
• Recommend improvements to increase clean claim rates and reimbursement.
