Job summary

Pennant Services, a remote U.S. employer, is seeking an experienced Cash Posting supervisor to drive accounts receivable excellence across home health, hospice, and provider services.

The role focuses on cash posting accountability, training, and cross-team collaboration to improve reconciliation and reporting. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in health care collections, strong communication, and familiarity with cash posting systems such as Home Care Home Base, Eclinical Works, and Wellsky.

Qualifications

• At least three years of health care collections management, preferably in home health and/or hospice.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Demonstrates capability to accurately manage detailed information.
• Preferably cash posting experience within Home Care Home Base, Eclinical Works and Wellsky.

Responsibilities

• Creates accountability and visibility of collection posting for reporting to Executive Directors and Operational Leaders.
• Provides coverage for Cash Posters during short-term or unexpected absences.
• Provides ongoing training support to Centralized Cash team.
• Maintains positive relationships with RCM Team and Agency staffing.
• Maintains knowledge of cash posting procedures and identifies anomalies to share with RCM Team and Agency staffing.
• Provides guidance and support for monthly cash reconciliations and month end close processes.
• Owns monthly reconciliations of cash timing accounts.
• Partners with Revenue Cycle Team and Executives for timely posting projects.
• Attends monthly Portfolio Metric calls to report on collections and payment posting trends.
• Monitors cash logs to ensure all remits are posted.
• Reviews SOX processes to ensure remits are attached in EMR or proper documentation location.
• Monitors and communicates with Transition Accounting Team.
• Monitors ticketing system for agency posting support.
• Identifies zero remittance projections.
• Protects confidentiality of patient and agency information with controls.
