Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented healthcare AR professional to lead cash posting and reconciliation across home health, hospice, and provider services.

You will partner with the RCM team to improve posting accuracy, provide coverage during absences, and train a centralized cash team in a dynamic, remote-capable environment. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in healthcare collections, strong communication and negotiation skills, and experience with Home Care Home Base,

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in health care collections management preferably in home health and/or hospice operations.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment and demonstrate good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Demonstrated capability to accurately manage detailed information.
• Engages collaboratively with colleagues, peers, and payers and understands cash posting processes.

Responsibilities

• Creates accountability and visibility of collection posting efforts and procedures for reporting to leadership.
• Provides coverage for Cash Posters during short-term or unexpected absences.
• Provides ongoing training support to Centralized Cash team.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with RCM Team and Agency staffing.
• Maintains knowledge of cash posting procedures and identifies anomalies to share with RCM Team.
• Provides guidance for monthly cash reconciliations and month-end close processes.
• Owns monthly reconciliations of cash timing accounts.
• Partners on payment posting projects and reports trends and findings.
• Monitors cash logs to ensure remits are posted; reviews SOX processes for documentation.
• Monitors ticketing system and supports agency posting; communicates with Transition Accounting Team.
