Job summary

Claimocity is seeking a remote RCM Account Manager to oversee physician practice client accounts nationwide. You will monitor KPIs, guide the billing team through charge entry, posting, AR and denials, and serve as the primary contact for providers and clients.

You will coordinate with credentialing teams, communicate complex billing matters clearly, and manage multiple high-volume accounts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong account performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of direct experience in professional, provider-based medical billing.
• At least five additional years of experience concurrently managing multiple high-volume client accounts.
• Experience working with offshore billing teams.
• Hospitalist billing experience is not required but considered an advantage.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technology aptitude and willingness to learn new platforms and systems.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
• Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain detailed billing matters clearly to providers/patients.
• Ability to independently research billing, coding, payer, and denial-resolution issues.
• Ability to guide billing teams in resolving claim and payer issues.
• Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding.
• Multispecialty medical billing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Review account KPIs and operational performance daily and weekly.
• Monitor denials and appeals, identify trends, and support timely resolution.
• Maintain consistent communication with assigned billing teams.
• Interpret new payer policies and educate internal teams and providers as needed.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned providers.
• Communicate with patients regarding account questions and balances when necessary.
• Learn and navigate provider systems, including EHRs and file-management platforms.
• Support onboarding of newly assigned clients for a smooth transition.
• Review month-end activities and reporting, and present results to providers.
