Job summary

Amgen in Dallas is seeking a Rare Disease Key Account Manager to reduce time to diagnosis and improve patient access by partnering with health systems, clinics and infusion centers to grow the rare disease business.

You will diagnose barriers, coordinate with sales, medical, and market access teams, and lead strategies to strengthen clinic readiness, optimize buy-and-bill, and ensure a seamless patient and customer experience throughout the treatment journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Master’s degree and 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• High School diploma/GED and 12 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify access, operational, economic barriers in accounts to improve rare disease therapy utilization.
• Develop and execute account plans aligned with customer priorities.
• Coordinate field execution with cross-functional teams.
• Lead buy-and-bill optimization and site enablement initiatives.
• Monitor performance and adapt priorities to meet objectives.
