Job summary

MedKoder, LLC is seeking a Radiology Physician Coder to review and accurately code Radiology and multispecialty E/M cases, ensuring proper reimbursement under Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer guidelines.

The role requires at least 3 years of radiology coding experience, strong ICD-10-CM and E/M leveling skills, and active AHIMA/AAPC credentials. Remote work is preferred but not required, with opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate or BS degree preferred.
• Completion of AHIMA or AAPC-certified program with an active credential (CPC, CCS-P or equivalent). CPC-A not accepted.
• Minimum 3 years of physician coding experience (Radiology, E/M leveling).
• Proficiency in CPT coding, ICD-10-CM, modifiers; familiarity with CMS/Medicare and Medicaid billing for professional services.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with EHRs and Windows; Google Workspace preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and accurately code Radiology and multispecialty E/M cases (POS 11, 21, 22) for max reimbursement.
• Code E/M visits and office procedures accurately.
• Work independently and research coding scenarios.
• Meet daily production and 95% accuracy goals.
• Attend conferences and provide feedback; communicate trends to leadership.
