Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a full-time remote Physician Coder: Radiology to review and accurately code professional radiology services, including E/M, diagnostics, and procedures, ensuring Medicare/Medicaid compliance for optimal reimbursement.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of radiology and E/M coding, AHIMA or AAPC credential, CPT/ICD-10-CM proficiency, and experience with EHRs. Remote work, strong communication with leadership, and a commitment to accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate or BS degree preferred.
• Completion of an AHIMA or AAPC-certified program with an active professional credential (e.g., CCS-P, CPC).
• Minimum of 3 years of recent physician coding experience in Radiology and E/M leveling.
• Proficient knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and accurately code Radiology and Multispecialty E/M cases to maximize timely reimbursement.
• Meet daily production and quality goals, maintaining a 95% accuracy rate.
• Stay current on coding guidelines and communicate effectively with leadership on coding issues.
