Job summary

Maximus is hiring for Quality Control Analysts to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity that focuses on reviewing MDE reports and DBQs for veterans evaluated on behalf of the VA to ensure quality and timeliness.

The analyst works with medical providers, verifies completeness, and ensures accuracy before submission to the VA, while maintaining daily queue notes and escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of Quality experience may substitute for educational requirement.
• Experience in Healthcare, Quality preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products.

Responsibilities

• Review MDE requests for consistency with the DBQ.
• Review MDE reports and DBQs for completeness and grammar.
• Communicate with medical providers to corrections prior to VA submission.
• Verify second reviews and VA preferences are followed.
• Ensure all requested diagnostics are completed and submitted.
• Perform daily queue maintenance with updated notes.
• Communicate with the Medical Advisory Board on case issues.
• Meet weekly/monthly qualitative and quantitative goals.
