Job summary

Clarity Consultants seeks a Quality and Document Control Specialist to support field-based training programs for unconventional well operators and mechanics. You will ensure all project documents meet quality, formatting, version control, and documentation standards.

The ideal candidate brings upstream oil and gas experience, strong technical writing, and meticulous attention to detail. This 100% virtual role runs through year-end with potential extension and an hourly pay rate of $55.

Qualifications

• Senior-level QA/QC experience in technical training environments.
• Oil and gas industry experience required.
• Strong technical writing and editing skills.
• Experience supporting management of change (MOC) processes.
• Attention to detail in high-volume documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word; macros preferred.
• Smartsheet experience preferred.
• Adaptable and able to respond quickly to evolving project requirements.
• Strong collaboration with internal teams and third-party stakeholders.
• Ability to work exclusively on a PC throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Review and mark up technical documents to identify errors, omissions, inconsistencies, and formatting issues.
• Administer and support the management of change (MOC) process.
• Assist the Project Manager in maintaining the RIDAC log within Smartsheet.
• Manage document revisions, version control, and change audits as required.
• Ensure all project documentation is current, accurate, and compliant with project standards.
• Maintain consistency across a large volume of documents while meeting project deadlines.
