Filed is hiring for a fully remote QA/support role in the U.S., with a preference for Pacific or Mountain time zones and open nationwide outside New York. You will reproduce customer issues, write precise tickets for engineers, and respond to inquiries while learning how real tax workflows are implemented in software.

You’ll work between customers and engineering, gaining insight into tax software usage and how features ship.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA or software testing experience; reproduce bugs and write reports for engineering teams.
• Customer support experience in ticketing systems (Pylon, Zendesk, Intercom or Freshdesk).
• Tax background, from a tax/accounting firm, tax software company, or personal filing experience.

Responsibilities

• Reproduce customer-reported issues step by step inside Filed and tax software.
• Write clear Linear tickets with exact steps, expected vs actual results, screenshots and data.
• Respond to customer tickets quickly and clearly in the support inbox.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and create workable workarounds when needed.
• Verify fixes before informing customers and perform regression testing after releases.
• Spot patterns across tickets and flag recurring problems.
